National Service Scheme (NSS): Blood Donation Camp

Voluntary Blood Donation is an activity of immense social importance. NSS unit Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT) organized a blood donation camp on 30th November 2022 in the institute. The Blood Donation Camp was organized to inculcate concern and create awareness in the society. The event was organized in coordination with the authorities of Blood Bank, Department of Pathology, Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), LUCKNOW in association with HDFC Bank, Lucknow.

The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated with the opening remarks of Hon’ble ED, AIMT, Mr. Ambika Misra, Director Dr. Ashutosh Dwivedi, Additional Director Dr. Shweta Mishra, along with NSS Program Officer Dr. Anup Kumar Singh.

Faculty, students, staff members and NSS volunteers of AIMT enthusiastically contributed to the blood donation drive and selflessly donated 76 units of blood. The camp concluded at 1600 hr with the closing remarks by Hon’ble ED, AIMT who praised the wholehearted efforts, enthusiasm, teamwork, devotion, and leadership skills of the NSS Team and commended the administrative staff for the thorough arrangements. Officials from AIMT also thanked the authorities of SGPGI and HDFC for their cooperation. Program officer NSS praised all donors and NSS volunteers who made the camp a success by selfless act of blood donation, promotion, and motivation.
