Semi Classical: Semi-classical music is a beautiful blend of classical and folk music traditions. It’s a genre that bridges the gap between the rigidity of classical music and the freedom of popular music. Semi-classical pieces often incorporate elements of traditional ragas but are not bound by the strict rules of classical music. This genre includes forms like Ghazals, Qawwalis, Thumri, and Bhajans. It’s a melodious journey that offers listeners a taste of classical music while keeping it light and enjoyable. Semi-classical music is a testament to the versatility and adaptability of music.
Folk Singing: Folk music, often known as the music of the common people, is rich in tradition and history. It’s characterized by its roots in local communities and its themes of everyday life.
