Objectives
A. To support, those students who have been deprived of the services offered by the Institute, for which he / she is entitled.
B. This cell is formed in order to keep the healthy working atmosphere among students.
C. It helps students to record their complaints and solve their problems related to academics and personal grievances freely and frankly without any fear of victimization.
D. To keep the dignity of the Institute high by ensuring conflict free atmosphere in the Institute by promoting good Student-Student relationship and Student-Faculty members relationship.
E. To ensure effective solution to the student grievances with an impartial and fair approach.
F. To maintain overall discipline and implement code of conduct.
Responsibilities & Mechanism
A. AIMT shall be responsible to sort out the grievances of the students whatsoever pertaining to academic’s matters related to overall performance of the student within the working hours and Institute campus also including extended period of hours including travelling hours.
B. The student shall bring the grievance to the cognizance of respective HOD and enter it into the grievance register maintained in HOD’S office.
C. HOD shall issue an acknowledgement receipt in a prescribed format to the student.
D. HOD shall forward the said grievance to the convener grievance cell who shall subsequently forward it to respective department responsible to redress the grievance with the grievance register and get it signed by the representative of that department as a token of receipt and information to the concerned department. He will also inform and enter approximate time to redress the grievance in register.
E. The student shall enter his grievance on Monday and Tuesday.
F. Register shall be sent to Convener grievance cell on Wednesday.
G. The same shall be compiled and sent to concerning department same day.
H. HODs shall also generate a soft copy of the same and forward it to the convener.
I. The person responsible for grievance Redressal shall try to redress the grievance within the stipulated time and shall inform the progress to the convener on 10th, 20th and 30th of every month.
J. Every fortnight the status of grievance shall be displayed by the convener on notice boards
K. Once the grievance is solved the student shall get it closed on the receipt and the grievance register and sign over the grievance register.
L. On the first Friday of the month meeting of the grievance cell shall be commenced to take stock of the situation
