SPORTS & CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

At Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT), extracurricular and co-curricular activities play a vital role in fostering holistic development among students. These activities complement academic learning by promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, creativity, and essential life skills.

Extracurricular Activities

  • Horse Riding Club: AIMT’s horse riding club is a unique initiative that offers students a chance to develop leadership, responsibility, and emotional intelligence. Horse riding enhances physical fitness, mental well-being, and teamwork skills, aligning with the institute’s vision of nurturing well-rounded individuals.
  • Sports Activities: The college provides a wide range of sports facilities, including outdoor sports like football, cricket, basketball, and volleyball, as well as indoor activities such as badminton, pool/billiards, table tennis, chess, and carom. These activities promote physical fitness and camaraderie among students.

Co-curricular Activities

  • NCC and NSS: AIMT has established the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) to enhance students’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The NCC supports cadets in obtaining B and C Certificates, while NSS focuses on community service and character development.
  • Student Development Council and Societies: The college offers a variety of student societies, including film, art, music, dance, nature, and photography. These societies encourage students to develop artistic talents, foster creativity, and enhance practical skills essential for professional success. Participation in these activities helps students build resilience, improve problem-solving skills, and expand their interests beyond their coursework.
  • Unique Competitions: AIMT also provides opportunities for students to participate in competitions like the SUPRA SAEINDIA, where teams design and build formula-style cars, promoting innovation and teamwork.
