National Service Scheme (NSS) was introduced in 1969 with the primary objective of developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service. ‘Education through Service’ is the purpose of the NSS. The ideological orientation of the NSS is inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. Very appropriately, the motto of NSS is “NOT ME, BUT YOU.” An NSS volunteer places the ‘community’ before ‘self’.
NSS volunteers work to ensure that everyone who is needy gets help to enhance their standard of living and lead a life of dignity. The Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology students have actively participated in events conducted on behalf of Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology NSS unit.
Our cutting-edge laboratories are designed to provide hands-on experience in various disciplines. Notable among them is our Robotics Lab, where students can explore the world of robotics and artificial intelligence. These labs are well-equipped with the latest tools and technologies, ensuring that our students get the practical knowledge necessary for their careers.
In addition to horse riding facilities, the college offers a wide range of co-curricular activities. These include outdoor sports like football, cricket, basketball, and volleyball, as well as indoor activities such as badminton, pool/billiards, table tennis, chess, and carom. The college is equipped with three expansive grounds dedicated to outdoor sports. Furthermore, students engage in unique extra-curriculars, such as the SUPRA SAEINDIA 2011 competition, where teams from various colleges design, build, and race their own small, formula-style autocross cars.
AIMT also has a large number of student societies such as Film, Art, Music, Dance, Nature & Photography, to name a few, which encourage students to develop and hone their artistic abilities and talents.
